Farm To Fork Berkshire Pork

Do You Offer Piglets?
Yes. Occasionally, we will have piglets available. They are typically weaned around 7-8 weeks and can go to new homes shortly after. They will be eating and drinking independently. We strongly suggest buying more than one, as they are herd animals and will do better in pairs. We do not vaccinate or deworm before leaving our farm. That is at the discretion of the buyer.
Our feeder piglets start at $115. Registered breeding piglets may be available after evaluating them to ensure they are suitable for breeding. Please reach out before sending a deposit to verify availability.
At Cheyenne Creek Ranch, we take pride in offering farm to fork nutritious and delicious pork. Our pigs are raised with care and respect, ensuring the highest quality meat for your table. We prioritize sustainability and ethical practices to bring you the best pork possible.
Our pigs are home-raised, with no added hormones and no prophylactic antibiotics. They are rotated through pasture and hardwoods, allowing them glean multi-species forages and nuts, converting them into the most decadent pork.
Why Berkshire?
Berkshire pork, also known as Kurobuta pork. This breed is known for its exceptional meat quality, with a high level of marbling, which gives it a rich, sweet flavor and tender texture. Berkshire pork is highly sought after by chefs and food enthusiasts for its superior taste and tenderness. It is often considered to be a premium pork product and is used in high-end restaurants and gourmet food shops.
How Do I Get Pork?
We have butcher dates available throughout the year. To be sure, check with us as availability does vary. We offer pork by the side: half or whole. You have the freedom to get your pork cut however you'd like. Once verifying availability, reserving pork is as simple as providing a deposit on the size of pork you desire.
How Much Will It Cost?
The final cost will be dependent upon what the animal's hanging (rail) weight is. Our pork typically hangs around 220-250 lbs. Our current price is $3.50/lb hanging. Processing is an additional $1/lb. hanging weight (estimated).
The hanging weight of your pork is not the actual weight you will end up taking home.
65-70% of hanging weight is approximately what you will put in the freezer. This can vary by cuts, whether you choose bone-in or bone-out and how much is ground.
